It could be somewhat confusing initially when there’s usually a reference to another game sometimes here and there, but sometimes it’s mentioned in the recap or it’s nothing too major. I’d honestly say there’s no right or wrong way to start, except keep 6 for last! Each game - excluding 0 and Kiwami respectively - has a catch-up flashback section with a recap of what happened during the previous games.
